Cookies Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites can store on your device. They are often used to remember preferences or to track how people use a site.

2. Does this website use cookies?

We use one optional type of cookie: Google Analytics, which helps us understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful. These cookies are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not use Facebook Pixel or similar tracking tools. Our home page also shows a live Instagram feed provided by Elfsight, which may set its own cookies when the page loads (see section 5).

3. Google Analytics (optional — only with your consent)

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to collect anonymous statistics such as the number of visitors, which pages are viewed, how long people stay, the type of device and browser used, and the approximate region (town or country level) visitors come from. This helps us make the site more useful for players and families.

• Cookies set: _ga and _ga_<ID>, which distinguish one visitor from another. They last up to 2 years.
• Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
• We have turned off Google Signals and advertising personalisation, so this data is not used for adverts or linked to Google accounts by us.
• We never use analytics to identify individual visitors, including children.

We only record your choice on your own device (in your browser’s local storage) so we don’t ask you on every page. We ask again after 12 months. You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings, or use the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. 4. Google Fonts

Our pages use Google Fonts to display text in our brand typefaces. When a page loads, your browser requests these fonts from Google, which means Google may receive your IP address. Google does not set cookies through this and states the request is not used for advertising. You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Instagram feed

Our home page displays a live Instagram feed of the club’s posts. This feed is provided by Elfsight and pulls content from Instagram. It loads automatically when you open the home page, and in doing so Elfsight, Instagram or Meta may set their own cookies on your device and receive your IP address.

These cookies are set by those third parties, not by us, and are governed by their own policies — see Elfsight’s Privacy Policy and Instagram / Meta’s Privacy Policy, over which we have no control. If you would prefer these cookies not to be set, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings or use your browser’s private/incognito mode.

6. Links and forms to other services

Our site links to, or sends information to, third-party services such as PlayHQ, Google Forms, easyfundraising, Facebook and Instagram. When you visit or use those services they may set their own cookies, governed by their own cookie and privacy policies. We have no control over these and recommend reviewing their policies.

7. Managing cookies

You can change your analytics choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or rejecting cookies will not stop the site working for you.

8. Changes and contact
