The Alumni

“Won the U16 CVL final against Sutton Storm, but fell short to Croydon Elite the season after in the U18 finals.”

“I helped found the club along with other ex-Southborough school mates in 1983. I stayed with the club as it developed through the Surrey League to EBL Div One. I only left the club when I moved to Warwickshire in 2003, leaving it in the hands of Justin Edison. I’m proud that it’s still going strong and wish everyone involved good luck and success.”

“Kingston Wildcats spot, 2022 U16s Nationals. Coach’s Player 2023. Club Player of the Year 2024.”

“This is where I played my first proper season of organised hoops, helped me find how I want to be as a player.”

“Was one of my starting points, helped me progress my game into what it is today. I’ve been to Spain and now play in university.”

“Kingston Wildcats was my first outside club, introduced me to basketball. Coach Addy was an amazing coach. I went on to play for Chessington Academy for 2 years.”

“This club means so much to me. I spent so much of my childhood in Chessington Sports Centre for Wildcats training, London Youth Games training and Young Prospects camps. My highlight was my first U16 season where we had a great roster, put in some great performances and I won MVP at the end of the year. I loved getting to work with so many great coaches and developed tremendously as a player during my time at Wildcats!”

“Really enjoyed my time at Wildcats and with the coaches really developed my ball handling and built my confidence. It’s a great environment.”

“Won MVP for Kingston Wildcats in the 2023 U16s Nationals.”

“The club got me into basketball! Every team I played for gave me a new challenge, and new friends. I loved every minute of it. It’s enabled me to play at university, and continue my growth as a player/person.”
